INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR DESIGNING, MANUFACTURING, AND SUPPYING OF

JEWELLERY SETS TO BE AWARDED TO PRIZE WINNERS

Bids are invited from the registered manufactures and traders of Gem & Jewellery Authority and having technical knowledge and capabilities to design, manufacture and delivery of Jewellery sets to Development Lotteries Board to be awarded to lottery winners.

Bidding documents and specifications shall be obtained from the Procurement division of the Development Lotteries Board 2nd floor at No 33, St Michael's Road, Colombo 3, Sri Lanka from 17.07.2007 between 10.00 a m and 3.00 p m from Monday to Friday, other than on Public Holidays, until 03.08.2007 upon a payment of Rs 5,000/= (Five thousand) as a non-refundable fee.

Bid documents will be issued only to manufactures and traders of Jewellery those who have been engaged in the trade for last 5 ( Five) years in the local /export market.

Bids should be accompanied with a Bid Security for Rs 2,000,000/= ( Two million) as per conditions of the Bid.

Bidders should furnish all the detailed information as required in the Bid Documents..

As per the Bid Conditions, Bidders must submit the offers in duplicate to reach the Chairman, Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, Development Lotteries Board, 33, St Michael's Road, Colombo 3, Sri Lanka to reach on or before 03.08.2007. Bid documents could be sent by registered post or could be deposited in tender box kept at 2nd floor of the above address. Acceptance of Bids will be closed at 3.00 p m on 03.08.2007 and opened immediately thereafter.

The Procurement Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid or part thereof or call for additional information where deemed necessary.

Bid documents may be inspected at the Development Lotteries Board, No 33, St Michael’s Road, Colombo 3., free of charge from 10.00 a m to 3.00 p m on any working day up to 02.08.2007.
