I, a respected public servant of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka,

Pledge to identify my own shortcomings and weaknesses in the performance of my duties and to bring about change through my own exemplary conduct for the advancement of the entire Public Service.

I further pledge to bring about a positive change towards integrity in my workplace and in society through my actions.

I shall always give priority to the common good and public interest over personal gains and benefits.

Even in the absence of any external supervision, I shall act with self-discipline, in accordance with my conscience, and shall always do what is right and ethical.

I shall uphold the fundamental values of the Public Service, namely transparency, accountability, financial discipline and respect for the law, in the performance of my daily duties.

I shall dedicate myself to the complete eradication of bribery, corruption, waste, conflicts of interest, nepotism and inefficiency from the public administration system.

I am committed to providing services to every individual who seeks assistance from me, with kindness and equality, without any form of discrimination.

I hereby pledge to make my fullest contribution to this national mission towards “An Integrity-Based Culture – A Clean Sri Lanka.”

ගෞරවණිය රාජ්‍ය සේවකයෙකු වන මම ,

මා තුල වන අඩුපාඩු හා දුර්වලතා හඳුනාගෙන

සැමවිටම නිවැරදි සහ සදාචාරාත්මක දේ පමණක් සිදු කරන බවටත්,
රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ පදනම වන පාරදෘශ්‍ය භාවය, වගවීම,
මුල්‍ය විනය සහ නීතියට ගරු කිරීම යන වටිනාකම්
මාගේ දෛනික රාජකාරීවලදී අනුගමනය කරන බවටත්,
රාජ්‍ය පරිපාලන පද්ධතියෙන් අල්ලස, දූෂණය, නාස්තිය,
ලබැදියාවන් අතර ගැටුම, ඥාති සංග්‍රහය සහ අකාර්යක්‍ෂමතාවය
සහමුලින්ම තුරන් කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් කැපවන බවටත්,
මා වෙත පැමිණෙන සෑම සේවාලාභියෙකුටම
කිසිදු භේදයකින් තොරව, සමානාත්මතාවයෙන් සහ
කාරුණිකව සේවය සැපයීමට මා බැඳී සිටින බවටත්,
“සුපිළිපන් සංස්කෘතියක් - ක්ලීන් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවක්” උදෙසා වන

இலங்கை ஜனநாயக சோசலிசக் குடியரசின் மதிப்பிற்குரிய அரச உத்தியோகத்தரான நான்,

அரச கடமைகளை நிறைவேற்றும் போது, முழு அரச சேவையின் முன்னேற்றத்திற்காக என்னிடமுள்ள குறைபாடுகள் மற்றும் பலவீனங்களை அடையாளம் கண்டு, எனது முன்மாதிரியான நடத்தையின் மூலம் என்னை மாற்றிக்கொள்ளவும்,

அதன் மூலம் எனது பணிச்சூழலிலும் சமூகத்திலும் நேர்மையான மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தவும்,

தனிப்பட்ட இலாபங்கள் மற்றும் நன்மைகளை விட எப்போதும் பொது மக்களின் நலனுக்கும் பொதுநலனுக்கும் முன்னுரிமை வழங்கவும்,

எந்தவொரு வெளிப்புறக் கண்காணிப்பும் இல்லாத சந்தர்ப்பத்திலும், எனது மனச்சாட்சிக்கு இணங்க, சுயக்கட்டுப்பாட்டுடன் செயற்பட்டு, எப்போதும் சரியானதும் ஒழுக்கநெறிகளுக்கு உட்பட்டதுமான செயல்களை மட்டுமே மேற்கொள்ளவும்,

அரச சேவையின் அடிப்படை விழுமியங்களான வெளிப்படைத்தன்மை, பொறுப்புக்கூறல், நிதி ஒழுக்கம் மற்றும் சட்டத்திற்கு மதிப்பளித்தல் ஆகியவற்றை எனது அன்றாடக் கடமைகளில் பின்பற்றவும்,

அரச நிர்வாகக் கட்டமைப்பிலிருந்து இலஞ்சம், ஊழல், விரயம், நலன் முரண்பாடுகள், உறவினர் ஆதரவு மற்றும் வினைத்திறனின்மை ஆகியவற்றை முற்றாக ஒழிப்பதற்காக அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செயற்படவும்,

என்னிடம் சேவையை நாடி வரும் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் எவ்வித பாகுபாடுமின்றி, சமத்துவத்துடனும் அன்புடனும் சேவைகளை வழங்குவதற்கு என்னை அர்ப்பணிக்கவும்,

“நேர்மையான கலாசாரம் – தூய்மையான இலங்கை” என்ற இலக்கை நோக்கிய இந்த தேசிய செயற்பாட்டிற்கு எனது முழுமையான பங்களிப்பை வழங்கவும்,

இதன் மூலம் உறுதியளிக்கின்றேன் / சத்தியப்பிரமாணம் செய்கின்றேன்!
