10-September-2026

The Development Lotteries Board (DLB) took another major technological step today (2026.09.10) by introducing its second digital lottery, “Wasi,” to the market.

The new “Wasi” lottery draw will be conducted using digital technology. The complete draw programme will be broadcast through the DLB Lottery Show YouTube channel, while a short video featuring the results will also be broadcast through the DLB Lottery Show programme.

The inaugural draw of “Wasi,” named “Raja Wasi,” will be held on October 1, 2026, as a special draw. Thereafter, draws will be conducted seven days a week.

The new “Wasi” lottery ticket can be purchased through the DLB Sweep App as well as in the form of a printed ticket. The price of one lottery ticket is Rs. 40/-.

With a very simple two-number prize structure, the new “Wasi” lottery offers customers the opportunity to win attractive cash prizes. During each draw, two winning numbers, a Super Number, and an English letter will be selected.

Matching the two winning numbers, the Super Number, and the English letter gives the opportunity to win the Super Jackpot of Rs. 1,000,000/-.

Matching the two winning numbers and the English letter will qualify the winner to receive either a cash prize of Rs. 500,000/- or an electric motorcycle, according to the customer’s preference.

Matching the two winning numbers together with the Super Number will win Rs. 50,000/-. Matching the two winning numbers alone will win Rs. 25,000/-, along with many other attractive prizes ranging down to Rs. 40/-.

Furthermore, in the first “Raja Wasi” draw, in addition to the above prizes, customers will have the opportunity to win special prizes. First, matching a special six-digit number will win an electric motorcycle. Secondly, matching a special five-digit number will win a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-.
