The Development Lotteries Board (DLB) (“DLB”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is the developer and operator of the DLB Sweep mobile application (“the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

This policy is designed to meet Google Play User Data and Data Safety disclosure expectations.

2) Scope of this Policy

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you install, access, or use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

3) Data We Collect

We collect data to provide secure access, deliver services, comply with law, and improve reliability. The categories include:

• 3.1 Personal Identifiers & Contact: Name, Email address, Phone number, User IDs. Authentication with username, password, and OTP for secure login.
• 3.2 Financial & Transactions: Payment info and purchase history.
• 3.3 Location: Approximate and precise location.
• 3.4 Device & App Performance: Device IDs, app interactions, crash logs, diagnostics.
• 3.5 User Content: Photos or documents (verification, support).
• 3.6 Collection Methods: Information you provide directly, information collected automatically (logs, diagnostics, performance).

Encryption in transit: Data transmitted between your device and our services is protected using industry-standard encryption.

4) How We Use Your Data

We use personal information only for operational and legally permitted purposes, such as account management, secure login, service delivery, payments, notifications, reliability, and compliance. We do not use your personal information for advertising or marketing.

5) Sharing & Processors

We do not sell your data. Data is only shared with:

• Service Providers (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging)
• Legal authorities (when required by law)
• Your consent/direction

6) Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on secure DLB servers, encrypted in transit and at rest, with strict access controls.

7) Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for services and legal requirements. Data no longer needed is securely deleted or anonymized.

8) Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9) International Transfers

Data is currently stored in Sri Lanka. If transferred internationally, safeguards will be implemented.

10) Your Rights & Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may request to access, correct, delete, withdraw consent, or restrict processing of your data. Contact DLB to exercise these rights.

11) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy due to changes in law, technology, or services. Updates will be communicated via the App or our website.
