Development Lotteries Board

Meeting of the Sales Agents of the Development Lotteries Board of Northern Province and distribution of sales outlets comes to the end under the patronage of Hon. Minister of Finance.

‘Abhimani’,which is the first programme in 2019 of the series of such programmes due to be conducted all over the Island to appreciate by DLB in order to appreciate the services of its Sales Agents , has been successfully conducted along with the distribution of sales outlets on 08.09.2019 with the participation of Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Finance at Jaffna city.

Accordingly the progress of the sales of Sales Agents in Northern Province was reviewed and their grievances and problems were also discussed. In the meantime appreciation of the commitment of the Sales Agents, which is the main objective, has also been made. 

Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Finance and Mr. Emmanuwel Arnold, Mayor of Municipal Council, Jaffna, who participated in the event in appreciation the effort of DLB, have presented cheques, certificates and trophies to the Sale Agents , who have proved  the recorded sales volume in 2018 at district level in Northern province.

In the meantime Hon. Minister of Finance has handed over 06 new sales outlets to Sales Agents during the meeting of Sales Agents as a token for the distribution of outlets by DLB.

Mr. Sena Suriyapperuma, Chairman of DLB, Mr. H.R.Wimalasiri, Working Director, Mr. Anura Jayarathna, General Manager, Miss. Vijitha Somarathna, Deputy General Manager ( Finance), Mr. Chanaka Dodangoda, Deputy General Manager (Marketing),  Mr. Kasuna Jayasuriya, Assistant General Manager (Marketing),  Mr. Sunil Jayarathna, Assistant General Manager (Marketing),  Mr. Kumarasiri, Zonal Manager of Northern and Eastern provinces have participated in the event with other staff.
